Spirits and Spirits

I am always asked if Arnold's has ghost. I never educated myself much on ghost as I associated them with being scary or evil. I have never liked scary movies and my mom would not let me watch poltergeist. Whenever an employee talks about something they think might be a ghost I always listen but never take much stock in it. However I do have my thoughts on why Arnold's has been open so long and that will be discussed in the interview.

Paranormal Investigators came to Arnold's this past Sunday and spent the night. Chris stayed with them and several times he got a little interested in what was going on. I don't want to give it all away here because it will all be on the radio show next Monday. Mark you calendar to come to Arnold's. It will be a fun night of listening to what happened that night, interviews from Arnold's family, including the big JT (Jim Tarbell) and good cheap eats!

Below is the press release for this event...

Arnold’s Bar and Grill & Inside The Paranormal Present
The Haunted Happy Hour Listening Party

On Monday July 11th, from 6-9pm, Arnold’s invites you to have a spirit with the spirits. Last week, the team of paranormal investigators from Cornerstone Paranormal spent the night at Arnold’s and did a full investigation. Then, they interviewed staff and regulars about things that they have seen over the years. They will be presenting their findings and the interviews for a full hour on the now National radio program, Inside The Paranormal. The first airing of this show will be on WVQC 95.7 FM on Monday July 11th at 7pm. Arnold’s will be airing the show on all the speakers in the building. In addition after the show airs live the hosts, David and Teresa will be racing back to Arnold's for a post show meet and greet from 8:15-9:30. To make this a real can’t miss event, in honor of our 150th, from 6-9pm, we will be offering $1.50 Hamburgers, $1.50 Veggie Burgers and $1.50 Fries. Plus, all 16oz Pints from our entire Christian Moerlein stable of beers (OTR ALE, Northern Liberties IPA, Arnold’s 1861 Porter) will be just $4.00.
